Cave Divers Return
A group of experienced Dive Addicts recently returned from a Florida Cave Diving excursion with many memorable stories to tell. Congratulations to Scott Olcott for earning his Cavern and Basic Cave certifications and to Rick Heil for completing his Cavern certification.
Whether on rebreather, side mount or back mount, Dive Addicts explored the diverse Florida cave systems and all have personal favorites to rave about. If you're interested in cave diving, the first step is to take the Intro to Tech class. Learn about local Utah regulations, places to spearfish, different styles of fishing and techniques. Great for beginner and experienced spearfishing enthusiasts! Scuba Dive-A-Thon
Nearing the Finish Line!
The finish line approaches for our 1st Annual Dive Addicts Scuba Dive-A-Thon! Participants have been diving all around Utah this Summer and the race is tight. Many divers have met the minimum of 9 dives in 3 different local dive locations and even gone on to do extra dives and visit new locations to earn extra tickets in the awards drawing. With so many great prizes donated from our vendors and local Dive-A-Thon Supporters, we're excited to see who will win!
It's not too late to join. If you can bring in your logbook and show us that you've done 9 dives at 3 different local dive sites since the contest was announced June 20th, you'll earn a ticket in the awards drawing to be held Sat.
